Learn How To Play The Beatles: Day Tripper Guitar Chords

Day Tripper was a hit recording on the album of Rubber Souls, along with a single for “We Can Work It Out,” released in late 1965. The song was written by John Lennon, in attempt to create a string of new pieces to target the holiday season for the year.

Day Tripper quickly became one of the most popular songs on the album, and got as high as #5 on the Billboard charts in January 1966.

Recorded in October 1965 for the first time, The Beatles re-recorded the song several times thereafter, plus the live performances on tour the following year.
