Learn How To Play Cat Stevens: Moonshadow Guitar Chords
Moon shadow by Cat Stevens is a very popular song and one that many people would love to learn how to play on the guitar. If you are like many people who would Google how to learn how to play the song, then you are obviously not an expert guitar player. You will not be able to figure out how to play the song by ear because if you could you would have done so by now. We don’t say that to discourage you or to rat on your guitar playing skills but to let you know that we will help you find an easy way to learn how to play this song.
When it comes to learning how to play new songs, there’s typically three methods. The first method is that you get the musical notes and sheet music and use that to learn the song. That typically requires that you know how to read music. The next the method that people use is learning how to play by ear, you listen to the song over and over again until you have it figured out. That takes having a lot of talent and a very good musical ear. Some people can do that easily and for others it is the hardest thing. What we have found, and which is the easiest method for most people, is using tabs.
What are tabs? Tabs are an easy way to learn songs on the guitar. It is a former notation that anyone can figure out in one second. No, that doesn’t mean that you will be able to perfectly play the song in one second but that notation is something that is very easy to learn. It is based on telling you where to place your fingers and how to pick the strings. It really is that easy. But to perfect the song you will have to practice over and over again.
So, if you really want to perfect the song then you need to learn it piece by piece. You need to learn a small part of the song and work on that tiny part until you have it perfected. If you do this you will masters the song in due time and it will all sound very good. So take your time perfect in each part of the song until you have it perfectly down. Learning in this incremental way is very valuable and in many ways it is very enjoyable.
Enjoy making music.
